Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels&Tourism, Telecoms&IT and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which rose 5.08% or 0.92 points to trade at 19.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) added 3.55% or 0.82 points to end at 23.92 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) was up 3.35% or 0.31 points to 9.57 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which fell 4.55% or 2.20 points to trade at 46.10 at the close. Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) declined 1.99% or 0.17 points to end at 8.39 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) was down 1.81% or 0.40 points to 21.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 87 to 85 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.32% or 1.29 to $56.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.45% or 0.95 to hit $66.31 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.55 to trade at $1330.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.04% to 4.2711, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 95.863.
